Greetings Austin Lovelies!

I hope this finds you well and cool. . . have you taken a dip in the springs yet this year? Mmmm, so wonderful. . . Especially since this rain cloud business has been teasing us the last few days. . . maybe there’s hope for a downpour yet this week. . .

Come Boogie at the Continental Club Tuesday Nights in July

Well, I just gotta say, last Tuesday night was amazing. Between the energy of the holiday-eve and the magic of the crowd, we had such an amazing night last week. The band sounded great and the vibe was through the roof. I am so looking forward to the rest of the month. . . Come get your boogie on with us. . . We start around 10pm after Toni Price. . . adn the next 2 weeks the Elsa Cross Band  will be closing the evening’s festivities.

HAAM Events (ours was canceled Thurs, but there are other awesome opportunities to support HAAM this month)

Unfortunately the Holiday HAAM Jam Christmas in July event at Threadgill’s was postponed, but there are many ways you can contribute to the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians This Thursday. HAAM is the beneficiary of the Dwight Yoakum show at ACL Live and  is also the monthly “Live at the Driskill” benefit for HAAM. Also, my friends at Rocket Electrics have musician-led Austin Music electric bike tours around our fair city and part of the tours go to HAAM as well. Check out this cool piece on the Music-tours. FINALLY! A kids show just for kiddos in Austin!

I love playing for and with kids and The City of Austin is doing a really neat live music series in our libraries this summer. On July 19th at 2pm, I’ll be doing a show at the University Hills Library especially for kids! Good time to get the kiddos out to browse some books and sing and dance to some tunes!

Hope to see you guys at the springs or at a show!
With Love,
