About the Calcasieu Two:

Lake Charles native songwriters Mike Krajicek (The Yams) and Wendy Colonna started a conversation in 2014 at Botsky’s (Michael’s downtown restaurant) about the music they mutually loved, harmony, life, and songwriting. They instantly knew that one day a collaboration would ensue. There was just too much musical synergy and spark to let the idea lie dormant. Each time their paths intersected over the following two years, the two developed the dream of working as a duo, sharing songs, interesting harmony arrangements and songwriting ideas. The concept was to combine these two unique gulf-coast voices and quirky personalities, original songs, covers they both loved in a fresh new package rich with harmonies and fun instrumental arrangements and a some new co-written material. Finally in the spring of 2016, The new duo “The Calcasieu Two” will debut their show and new songs across Louisiana March 9-13!lagniappe
